Former President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, celebrated his 79th birthday on Saturday, 5th March,2016, @ the International Conference Centre, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Complex, Abeokuta.

Lanre Tejuosho, Bishop David Oyedepo, Nuru Ribadu, Gov. Ibikunle Amosun (Governor of Ogun State), Madam Bola Obasanjo (Obasanjo's wife), Emeritus Prof. Akin Mabogunje NNOM CFR, Liyel Imoke (former Gov of Cross River State), Former Head of Civil defense, Vice Chancellor of Bells University, Godswill Akpabio (Former governor of akwa ibom), Bells University Choir.

There were presentations on the theme: "Human Security, Violent Extremism and Radicalisation: Seeking Sustainable Solutions".
