Eden Hazard, despite transfer speculations to PSG during summer transfer window, drops hint that he will stay at Chelsea beyond the window.

The Belgian international, who has suffered a poor form this season after being named Player of the Year just months earlier, has been heavily linked with a move to both Real Madrid and PSG.
PSG looked to be front runners in the race for Hazard’s signature after the player himself angered supporters by admitting he’d struggle to turn down a move to France.

‘It’s hard to say no to PSG – as with all the teams capable of winning the Champions League,’
Hazard said at that time.

Having seen his fortunes start to turn under interim boss Guus Hiddink, Hazard is starting to show glimpses of his former self and, with life improving in London, he openly admitted his desire to stay and win trophies with Chelsea.

‘The future is always the same and that is to win trophies, next season, in two and three years,’ Hazard told Chelsea TV.

‘You want to win the games, to win trophies. [To do that] you have to be ready because all the teams want to beat Chelsea.

‘We are ready for that. We have good players in the team and I hope we can win more trophies.

‘I am always happy here. Even if I play badly, I’m happy. I know this is football but I try to keep a smile on my face every time.’ said Eden Hazard to Chelsea TV.
