According to Reuters, wearable tech sales is going to grow significantly in 2016.

Worldwide shipments of wearable devices are expected to rise 38.2 percent to 110 million units by the end of 2016, market research firm International Data Corp (IDC) said.

A Kurdish father identified as Ghazi H, whose 21-year-old daughter, Shilan was shot dead at a wedding in Germany has posted a picture of her in a pool of blood, the Sun reports.
The 50-year-old is demanding justice over the brutal killing of Shilan. Posting the graphic image on Facebook, he claimed his daughter had been murdered by relatives after rejecting an arranged marriage.

A 77-year-old retired engineer on Wednesday pleaded with an Agboyi-Ketu Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve his 23-year-old marriage, alleging that his wife often 'starved' him of sex.

The septuagenarian, Mr. Kola Fagbule, whose address was not disclosed, told the court that his 51-year-old wife, Beatrice, always denied him sex anytime he demanded for it.

Justice Lateef Akapo of a Lagos High Court on Wednesday convicted a 19-year-old secondary school leaver, Tobechukwu Igbokwe, and sentenced him to 37 years imprisonment for defrauding an American, of the sum of $40m in an inheritance scam.

According to the PUNCHNG, Igbokwe (Alias David Prince) and his accomplice, Ifeanyi Obi, were alleged to have duped an American, M. Silva, of the sum of $40m in an inheritance scam.

A representative of the hacker group Anonymous posted a Twitter video threatening to expose ‘very dirty secrets’ of U.S Presidential candidate Ted Cruz including his prostitute visits. The anonymous said:

The Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, ordered the occupants of the Lekki Gardens' buildings to leave their apartments.
He also ordered integrity tests to be carried out on the buildings to ascertain their fitness.

The governor, who came to the site of the five-storeyed collapsed building, which killed 35 people in Lekki, said he was unhappy with what he saw, hence, the need for quick action.

Another teenage girl abducted in Zaria...

A teenage girl, Ifeoma Nichodemus, now Aisha, angrily left her parents' home in Zaria, after a quarrel with her mum, as report states.
She went to a neigbour's place to 'cool down'; 21 months later, Ifeoma's parents are still yet to see her. But it's believed she was married off somewhere in Kaduna, and her name is now Aisha.

Students of the University of Ibadan on Saturday forcefully closed the school main gate and other entrances in protest against non-availability of electricity and water in the institution.

The protest which lasted for almost 5hours, brought a stop to all activities within the school, and brought up traffic. Thousands of the students came out of their halls of residence to join the protest, displaying placard, some of which drew the attention of the school management to their plight in the past few days.

The teenager was abducted by Yunusa, in August, 2015.

Ese was reunited with her family this week following a massive campaign by PUNCH newspaper, which generated national outrage and forced the authorities to ensure she was taken from Kano and reunited with her family.
Rose dismissed the claim by Yunusa’s father that the abductor had stayed with the Orurus for 10 years as a house help.

Following a hot day in Adelaide,a thirsty koala left the wild and climbed a cyclist’s bike frame, perching there adorably until the cyclist gave her everything in his water bottle.
Fellow rider Nick Lothian noticed the scene as he cycled by and snapped the picture, saying the koala was there for half an hour just chilling on the wheel frame, enjoying her new celebrity status.

They named her Carolina and his photo went viral.
